A better & easier way is to use a separate application folder. Duplicate the application folder + new environment/database (preferably similar to original). Export (with ID) all the objects you want to move, then delete the exported object from that layer. Then login to targeted layer & import with ID the exported object. Replace the original application folder with the 2 affected aod file. Full compile & table check/synchronization.


but the IDs of the objects stay the same and do not fit to the ID-range of the new layer. that's why i wrote that jobs. regards, --Hghrp 08:23, 29 March 2006 (PST)
