Hi,

I still have problems with 0.3.7 betas freezing if I quit them too early. Where "too early" ranges somewhere up to 10 minutes. Unfortunalety, for me as a developer this is a rather critical point, As this effectivly hinders usage of Sidax in any upgrade scenario where you need to switch layers or restart the app here and there.

Any new ideas on this topic?

Hi, Torben Try downloading a newer version :) I had the same problems with the old version. But after updaing to a newer one, the problem dissapeared.

The poblem is described here. I am workinng on it but haven't solved yet. The latest betas have less probability for this problem to occur but Ax still hangs if start sidax and then exit immediately --Max 01:23, 30 November 2006 (EST)

I can't find an origin of error - i have created a version which stores main menu cache on disk, but Ax hangs even in this case. --Max 03:22, 4 December 2006 (EST)

Ups, that is bad. What about a simple flag which disables Caching reverting Sidax to the original behavoir for those who are having problems with these freezes? So everybody would be "happy" as one could choose his preference. Perhaps disabling the cache by default as for having a safe default?

I have tested this whole thingy against the 0.4 Beta, and the Problem remains :-( Any news here?
