EntireTable means all records in current company.

If there are many records, the progress bar ticks away.

Download the utility to count the records.

Entire Table[edit]

The cachelookup method EntireTable works almost like a temporary table. When the first read access occurs, the entire table will be loaded into a temporary version of the table. Is the amount of data over a memorylimit, the temporary table will store its data in a temporary file in the aos-server filesystem instead of holding the records in memory. Further select statements will be answered by querying the filesystem - so it might be slower than a cachelookup = none. Single-record-selects using a where-clause with the primarykey will also cached on the client side, but with the cachelookup-method found. Inside Dynamics AX describes this process with exact memorylimits.
